Navi Curriculum
The goal of the Navi curriculum is to ensure that students gain a deep and broad understanding of the many fundamental philosophical and halachik ideas contained within the stories of Neviim Rishonim. The educational mission of this section of the curriculum thus aligns with the general curricular philosophy of the Concept Centered Curriculum.
The Navi booklets which make up the Navi curriculum follow a similar format for each Perek. Each choveret begins with a summary of the Perek in Ivrit. The curriculum then focuses on the central Musagim, concepts learned from the Perek, quoting the concept and the Pesukim from which the concept was gleaned. In addition to the above, each choveret contains a color map which contains almost every city mentioned in the Perek.
